Introduction to Pastor Bonine and his family



Pastor Russell Bonine, was born and raised in Miles City, MT. After high school graduation at Miles City, he attended two years of college in Powell, Wyoming. He then attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Ag Business in 1996. After college he was employed in various areas of agriculture. He spent several years in production agriculture and also working as a sale & marketing coordinator for an ag related company. In 2005 he left all that to enroll at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN. As part of that schooling he spent a year as a vicar at St. Marks Lutheran Church in Elberta, AL. He graduated in 2009 from Concordia Theological Seminary. On August 2, 2009, Pastor Bonine was Ordained as a minister of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, and Installed as the pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Haven KS. He has served there for the past twelve years before accepting the call the Bethlehem in Ravenna.






In 1992 Pastor Bonine and Nancy were married. Nancy was also born and raised in Miles City, MT and they had met and dated in high school. To this union were added four girls, Kyrsten, Brittany, Natasha, and Amber. Kyrsten is married to Alex Michels. Brittany has been married to John Augustine for four years and have a son and daughter. Natasha is a graduate of Concordia University, Seward and is a Lutheran School teacher at Trinity Lutheran School in Riverton, WY. Amber is married to Joseph Burr and have a daughter.


Pastor Bonine and Nancy are thankful to be here and are looking forward to serving in this lovely community.
